The Hitcher(2007)

Like any remake seeing the original could be the deciding factor on how much you enjoy this. Myself I never seen the original. The premise has been seen in one form or another on many occasions. Most notably in recent memory would be Joy Ride. The difference is in Joy Ride you never really seen who the malefactor was. In The Hitcher it's known from the get go that is John Ryder. Sean Bean brilliantly plays one of the most sadistic bad guys. If he didn't do so well the rest of the film would fall flat. The film is well paced and builds suspense in the right spots. A few times I found myself trepidatious on what might happen. Sophia Bush helps in this respect as you're drawn to her character. There are a few instances of dumbness but much less than other films in the genre. Overall a film that does a good job on what it sets out to accomplish.

Sophia has a few revealing moments and looks spectacular throughout. After seeing this you may be tempted to check her out on The CW in One Tree Hill. Early in the film she changes in the car and we see her in a bra. There's a "nude" shower seen towards the 2nd half of the film but she stays strategically covered. Later in that setting we see her in the bathroom in her panties. But the big draw here is her legs. This film is a leg lovers paradise. For the entire film she's in a short jean miniskirt and her great legs are on display.
