Scream 4 Filming

Theaters are set to scream as yet another sequel to the Scream franchise began filming this week, Scream 4. This time creator Wes Craven and original scribe Kevin Williamson are back together. Fans of the series will agree this can only be a good thing. Original stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are attached. However the thinking is a passing of the baton to newer stars Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella. Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen are also involved in filming.

This is meant to be a reboot of the franchise and the beginning of a new trilogy. Craven and Williamson are supposed to be on board for all of the films. Tentative release date of April 15, 2011.
