Time Away and Surgery

Postby phatchopolis » Sat Dec 31, 2011 8:35 pm

As I haven't been around for months I wanted to take the time to leave explanation for my abscence as I'll not be present consistently for awhile.

Tragically unexpectedly and without warning my mother died from a brain aneurism October 31/November 1. My mother was the person I had the closest bond with so these last couple months have been hard and disorienting. In addition to that I have continuing health problems. January 11 I'll be undergoing major surgery to have my neck fused to hopefully correct a multiple disc problem I've had for the better part of two years. Which often times limits my ability to do even menial things. Recovery time if all goes well during surgery is 3-6 months.

So it'll be awhile before I can do anything with the site. Hope this year has been better than mine and here's wishing us all a Happy New Year in 2012.

Phatchopolis,

I can't even begin to expressed the sadness I feel on hearing of your mother's passing, to say "I'm sorry" seems to undercut the loss. I can't imagine going through such a thing, as I am fortunate to still have my mother within my life, but still, I wanted you know know, that I feel for your lost.

Secondly, I will keep you in my mind with positive thoughts knowing you're having the surgery tomorrow, and hope for the best, for a quick and speedy, full recovery.
Rich Woman: Are you ok? Do you want me to call 911?
T-X: I like your car.
Wesley: I have a pen. Sterling. My name's on it. But that's not the point.
