The Kickstarter campaign to fund the Veronica Mars movie continues to be successful. Keep donating as Rob Thomas has said around $5 million is where he thinks he will be able to do what he has outlined but more obviously gets a better film.

Rob also tweeted this morning that Smart Pop Books will be donating 25% of the sales of Neptune Noir to the Kickstarter campaign. Neptune Noir is a collection of essays about Veronica Mars that includes a foreword written by Rob Thomas. Through the end of this month they will donate 25% of every ebook sold. That is close to $1 for each sale which they are still going to do even though Amazon has the book on sale for $1.99.
